For over a decade, Troi has been designing and constructing Halloween costumes from scratch, with no formal training. Each year, she spends about a month bringing an idea to life—combining elements from designers like Thierry Mugler, artists like Hajime Sorayama, costumes from music videos, niche video game characters, and select films.

Over time, her skills have evolved along with her creative process. Despite the level of craftsmanship, each costume is made for under $300, proving that creativity doesn’t have to be expensive.
